Privacy policy

ReelGrow works inside your Chrome, signed in as you. It has no account and no server that holds your followers or the people it likes.

What ReelGrow reads

Instagram pages and lists you can already see when signed in: your followers and following, the followers of creators you name, and their posts. It reads them only to run the features you turn on.

What it keeps on your computer

  • Your settings
  • The people it engaged, their liked posts and whether they followed back, for 30 days
  • Your followers and following, with a log of who came and left, for 90 days
  • Bot scores, until the next scan
  • Your lists (never, keep, creators you watch), until you reset
  • Warnings Instagram showed and the pause that followed, for 30 days

Profile pictures are shown from Instagram's own links and never stored. If "Sync settings across your Chrome" is on, only your settings sync through your Google account; lists and history never do. Settings → Reset, or removing ReelGrow, deletes everything.

What leaves your computer

  • Feedback you send from Help & feedback: your message, your email if you add one, and, if you leave the box ticked, the times and results of the last 50 actions (never usernames).
  • Your answer on the uninstall page, if you give one.
  • Anonymous usage events, so we know which features people use and when Instagram breaks something: for example "a day finished, 40–60 likes" or "a warning appeared". They carry a random ID made when you install ReelGrow, and never usernames, posts, followers or anything about the people ReelGrow engages. We use PostHog to count them.

This website counts visits the same way, without cookies. We never sell data and never show ads. ReelGrow's use of information follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
